Cook Islands Prime Minister, Hon. Mark Brown, announced this morning (30th November 2022), that an agreement has been concluded with Hawaiian Airlines to operate a weekly service between Honolulu (HNL) and Rarotonga (RAR) commencing 20th of May 2023.
The flight will operate with an extremely fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo with 16 Premium seats, 44 extra comfort Premium Economy seats and 128 Economy seats.
Ticket sales will commence Thursday 07th December 2022, with HawaiianAirlines.com
Flight HA495 will depart Honolulu at 4pm on Saturdays, and arrive in Rarotonga at 10.25pm the same day. The return flight, HA496, will depart Rarotonga at 11.35pm on Sundays with a 5.50am Monday arrival into Honolulu.
The actual connections will be available soon from Hawaiian Airlines multiple USA connecting cities.
The Cook Islands is very excited to have Hawaiian Airlines back on our shores. This service, added to the Tahiti Connections with Air Rarotonga, will open the door to more North American travellers and provide links for our European clients who choose to travel via North America to the Cook Islands.
