Raro Buggy Tours offers a fun and exciting way for visitors to experience Rarotonga. Starting from your departure point your friendly local tour guide will take you on a journey first on the main and then through to the back road known locally as the Ara Metua. You will venture around the island until you get to the Waterfall where you park and everyone can enjoy a swim and quick cool off before its time to head off to a mini golf course for a few putts.
The tour also offers many great photo opportunities at each of the stops so don’t forget to take your camera or go pro. Those looking to take on the challenge, we recommend to take a towel and a spare change of clothes as it can get quite dirty and muddy especially on rainy days.
Both the morning and afternoon tours include a delicious hearty lunch and a complimentary drink at the Food Box, the afternoon tour also includes an additional driving circuit before the end of the tour.
Drivers must be 18 years or over and must present a current local or full overseas drivers License. Please note that all drivers must sign a Disclaimer at the beginning of the Tour.
Child Policy: Minimum age is 4 Years Old.
Child Policy: No children under 4 years are permitted on tour.
Morning Tour
Departure time: 8.30am
Tour duration: 1.5 to 2 hours.
Days of operations: Monday to Friday / Saturday.
Afternoon Tour
Departure time: 11.30am
Tour duration: 1.5 to 2 hours.
Days of operations: Monday to Friday
Pax Requirement:
Each buggy seats up to 2 pax comfortably.
8 buggies is the maximum per tour.

- Check in time, all clients to be at Wigmores Superstore 30 minutes prior to departure time.
- Hotel transfers can be arranged, however an early notice must be given. Transfers must be paid directly (NZD cash) with the tour guide upon check-in.
- Drivers must be 18 years and over and have a valid full or restricted local or overseas drivers license. All license drivers must sign a disclaimer before each tour.
- Lunch is included in all tours.
- 6 or more buggies is regarded as a Group booking.
What to bring:
Drivers license (restricted or full), sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sunglasses, towel, swim wear, and a Go Pro or camera.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations up to 24 hours to tour departure - No charge, full refund.
Cancellations up to less than 24 hours or No Show prior to tour - 100% charge.
Cancellations by Coconut Tours due to weather - Option is to rebook or full refund.
Group Cancellation Policy
Cancelled or modified 7 days to arrival or No Show - 100% charged.
